The Object in a Bag

Imagine this scenario,
you have a bag which holds inside is a broken object. You are very upset about that object as you really like it and thinking the fact that it's broken made you even more sadder.
Telling other of the condition of your object, and other's reaction was that they felt sad for you as that object in your bag that you like is now broken.
Day to day, you carry that object thinking that nothing can replace it. It made you more sadder thinking about it.
Now what happens if someone came and listens to you. He/she sits down and listens every word you say. He/she not only listens but understands why you still carry that broken object although it is already broken. He/she then asked you,
"I'm interested in that object, as why you are so attached to it."
He/she then continue saying,
"Would you mind showing it to me that object?"
Slowly, and carefully you took that object from your bag and display it infront. And you continue to tell as for why you really feel sad and why you still keeps it.
Then He/she asked,
"I can see now that the object it broken, but your feelings attached to that object is not."
You then realize that although the object is broken, but you still carry it around, why? because the bond between that object is still there. Which then you try to fix it, try your best and manage to put it together.
The morale of the story is, if you have problems, let it out to those who are truly listening. Only then you are able to see it and fix it. You cant possibly fix something that is inside of a bag.
