Memory Association

When you do something on a computer, you usually save it so that you will be able to retrieve it in the future. Like this blog, where does it save to? To the database of course. If it's your school project, some save it to your disket, thumb drive, hard disk, or even CD ROMs. But how about our mind? Where does it save to? Are you having a hard time remembering your school subject, formulas that you wish it is saved somewhere so that during the test you can use pen it and use it?

Well i just finished my 2nd book on memory, and for those who is reading this, you are the lucky person for now i'm gonna share how to get that mega memory.

I'm gonna make it simple for you.
The only thing that sticks in your minds are events that are Funny, Weird and Sadness. Can you recall the story you heard when you were small called snow white and the seven dwarf? or jack and the Bean Stalk? Why are you remembering these stories even though it was told to you 10 20 years ago? Because the fact that those stories are Weird! and some are Funny.

The only best way to remember things is 1st.

PAY ATTENTION
without paying attention nothing that you want to remember can be stored in your mind.
2nd is to.

ASSOCIATE
this means u must link each things that u need to remember to another item. For example, you need to buy some egg, milk and butter. So imagine the Egg with yr friend's face drinking the milk. Then next imagine a Cow that has milk lying down on a pile of Butter. Instantly you now can remember what you gonna buy!
3rd and last is.

VISUALIZE
which means imagine, that the key ingredient in this memory storing. Let say you need to remember the formula a = (b+c) .
Imagine B and C in a cage and A is pulling it. or A always pulling B and C in a cage.

SUMMARY
To recap, to remember something for a long period of time you need to make it Funny or Weird. Always pay attention, link it to something and then imagine it. That's the way.

try and remember these list,

ball
raincoat
fork
table
boy

here how it goes, imagine a ball with yr friend's face smiling at you, he is wearing a bright yellow raincoat. He wears the raincoat and holding a fork. The fork is on the table. The Boy is sitting on the table. See you link (1 & 2), (2 & 3), (3 & 4), (4 & 5).
In this way you always remember the things before and after in the list.
