Worries

Everyone feels worries sometimes or someday at some event or reasons. Worry that you would fail the exams, worry of what your parents would say to you, worry of which school you would end up with, worry of who your love mate is and so on and so forth. It's ok to feel worry cause you would be more prepared and more cautious of what you do now in the present. If a person who does not worry, which means he does'nt concern so much about the outcome.
Worrying too much is just something that you keep on thinking too much on a particular action that has various outcome. For example, a person studying for his coming test, he worry that what happens if he fail, if he fails this test he would possibly have to drop out from school, parents would scold him, teach would have to give him extra lessons, no more playng soccer, these are the outcome of his action which is failing the test. So what can we do to solve this.

Formula:

Object = Taking Test
Action = Failing the Test.
Outcome = Scolding from parents, No soccer, study more, extra remedial classes, possible drop out from school.

Due to multiple Outcome which is negative, the boy would worry too much, AND due to worrying too much he could not concentrate for his upcoming test. When he can't concentrate, he would definately Fail and the Outcome that he has predicted and worrying about would come true.

The only way to Solve it is...To Pass the Test. And how to pass the test, is just to concentrateand study well, how to study well, pay attention in class always and have extra tutoring. Well, if his mind set is to Pass and he has that confidence in him, he would not worry to much about the Outcome. So the new formula is,

Object = Taking Test.
Action = Pass the Test.
Outcome = Parents would be proud, possibly able to play as a reward for studying well.

We as a tutor or techers or even parents can help those with worrying problems, ask them what are their Intention in doing something, if their intention is wrong, the outcome would not be desireble. Know why they are doing it and what's the reason for doing it. Example from the previous, Taking the test is a way to upgrade his skill and knowledge, for his benefit when he go up one level in study. Possibly explain good jobs require good knowledge. So people who worries can be help and even US ourself can help ourself to stop worrying and to keep calm for a moment to think, Why are we worrying, what's the Action that we are taking that worries us.
